The industrial sector as one of the drivers of the national economy has a strategic role in building economic independence, especially in the steel industry.The purpose of this study is to find out the problems in strategic industry management, namely the lack of capacity and utilization of production capacity in the upstream steel sector which causes the need for new investments with large values to build the Basic Steel industry, not yet optimal policies that support the entry of investment to build the basic steel industry and not yet optimal synergy between Ministries/Institutions in attracting investment in the national steel industry

PT PINDAD INVESTMENT POST OMNIBUS LAW CREATION IN SUPPORTING DEFENSE ECONOMY

PT Pindad (Persero) is a state-owned Indonesian defense industry engaged in military and commercial products. The purpose of the establishment of the state-owned defense industry PT Pindad is to provide the defense equipment needs independently to support the implementation of the defense and security of the Republic of Indonesia. The capital investment and realization of PT Pindad (Persero)'s income in the last five years in achieving its income has always increased. For this achievement, PT Pindad's revenue from 2016-2020 always increases. However, the achievement of PT Pindad's revenue is still below the target set in the Company's Work Plan and Budget (RAKP). This study uses a qualitative method, namely to study events and is used in research. The aim is to analyze the defense program in the Jokowi administration era. By using primary data and secondary data, The results of the study show that the Omnibus Law on Job Creation regulates investment regulations. This Job Creation Law brings reforms to national investment in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the national industry as well as competitiveness. The Job Creation Law seeks to create an investment climate that is able to ensure the survival of SOEs and supports the development of Indonesian SOE

TNI-Polri and Jakarta Province Government Cooperation Strategy to Handling Acceleration COVID-19

This study discusses the TNI-Polri Cooperation strategy and the Jakarta Provincial Government in accelerating the handling of COVID-19. This study using the theory of Organizational Resources from George R. Terry. The aim is to describe Cooperation regulations, activity methods, the readiness of human resources, and the availability of infrastructure facilities in accelerating the handling of COVID-19. The method used is an observational case studies method with both quantitative and qualitative approaches (mix method) and uses SWOT and AHP for analysis. As a result, the first strategy is to create cooperation policy regulations, the second strategy is to increase public awareness of implementing Health protocols, the third strategy is to create superior human resources, and the fourth strategy is to realize the readiness of facilities and infrastructure. Pemeliharaan perdamaian merupakan salah satu isu krusial dalam politik global saat ini. PBB, sebagai lembaga internasional utama, memiliki peran kunci dalam menjaga perdamaian dan keamanan dunia. Indonesia, sebagai salah satu negara anggota PBB, telah aktif berpartisipasi dalam operasi pemeliharaan perdamaian PBB selama beberapa decade. Indonesia telah mengambil berbagai upaya dan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pemeliharaan perdamaian melalui Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB), termasuk pengiriman Personel Tentara Negara Indonesia (TNI) dalam misi perdamaian. Namun, kontribusi Indonesia tidak terbatas hanya pada aspek militer semata. Negara ini juga telah berperan aktif dalam bidang kemanusiaan sebagai wujud dukungan terhadap perdamaian dunia. Kontribusi Indonesia dalam operasi pemeliharaan perdamaian PBB telah memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dalam lingkup internasional. Implikasi positif ini mencakup berbagai aspek, termasuk reputasi diplomatis, hubungan internasional, pengaruh regional, dan kontribusi terhadap perdamaian dunia. INDONESIA’S PERSPECTIVE AND POSSIBLE STRATEGIES AS THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF ASEAN 2023 IN RESPONDING TO THE EMERGENCE OF AUSTRALIA-UK-USA DEFENSE PACT

The formation of the AUKUS Defense Pact (Australia-UK-US) has the potential to trigger militarization and regional instability. Indonesia, poised to lead ASEAN in 2023, is concerned about the impact of heightened tensions and threats to regional security. If AUKUS alters the role of external powers in this region, the centrality of ASEAN's role in preserving regional stability could be disrupted. This study aims to analyze the perspectives and strategies that Indonesia, on behalf of ASEAN, can adopt in facing AUKUS. A qualitative research method is employed with a descriptive approach. Data collection involves comprehensive interviews and a literature review. The SWOT method is used to formulate suitable strategies and perspectives, particularly those that reaffirm ASEAN's central role. The research findings reveal that the emergence of AUKUS has triggered security dilemmas within ASEAN, accelerated regional arms races, and potentially altered the balance of military power. As ASEAN Chair in 2023, Indonesia is committed to fostering unity within ASEAN to preserve regional stability and interests. The SO strategy (Strengths-Opportunities), through diplomatic efforts, economic cooperation, and multilateralism coordinated by ASEAN, is identified as the way for Indonesia to reinforce ASEAN's central role and respond to AUKUS. Consequently, Indonesia can promote regional cooperation, stability, and resilience

Collaboration between the population and civil registry service with 0707/Wonosobo District Military Command fulfillment of children's rights through child identity card

Child Identity Card is issued by the government to encourage increased data collection, protection and public services to realize the best rights for children. The existence of Child Identity Card shows the government's seriousness in fulfilling the rights of Indonesian citizens who are still underage to obtain public service rights that are equal to adults. The collaboration between the Office of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Wonosobo Regency to issue Child Identity Card in Sigedang is considered effective in targeting the community directly so that people can be more familiar with the functions and benefits of having Child Identity Card. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach which means this research describes a real phenomenon. There were 3 informants in this study as informants. The research data were obtained from various data sources, namely primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation

Corruption From The Perspective Of Defense Strategy

This research aims to analyze corruption crimes from the perspective of defense strategies using the theories of defense science, defense economics, and corruption. The research method used is qualitative literature study by collecting literature sources as research data classified according to the established research formula. The background of this research is the ongoing problem of corruption in Indonesia, which does not provide a deterrent effect for corrupt actors, resulting in significant negative impacts and losses for the state, as well as weakening defense. The results of the study show that defense strategies can be used as a way to reduce corruption in Indonesia by integrating defense science, defense economics, and corruption theories. Effective defense strategies can minimize the risk of corruption and enhance national resilience. Essentially, the support of national defense, in the face of corruption crimes, demands the implementation of Defense Strategies in accordance with the applicable regulations
